Experience Western Reserve Academy! Students Share Their Passion for WRA

Our Western Reserve Academy visit departs a bit from our usual format in more than just length. It’s longer but viewers also get to introduced to, and get to see, Western Reserve through the eyes of many students.

It is our most comprehensive school tour to date.

Our Western Reserve guides take us through Seymour Hall featuring classrooms physically tailored to the teaching required of each subject. The Wilson Science Center featuring a separate floor for each general discipline- biology, physics, and chemistry. The entire school meets three times weekly in the chapel for student-led all school meetings. School meetings hold special meaning for seniors as each has an opportunity to presents a personal “This I Believe” speech during his/her senior year.

The library, the Knight Fine Arts Center, and the Murdough Athletic Center make for a campus laden with positive energy. Over & over students pointed to opportunity as the thematic thread that binds every building and experience.

Different from the rural or isolated settings of many boarding schools, Western Reserve students live steps from downtown Hudson, OH and are encouraged to use and connect with town. Our guides express an appreciation of the opportunity to get a change of scenery and the chance to study in a local coffee shop.
