Dr. David Behrs San Domenico School New Head Of School

San Domenico School, a co-ed PK-8; all girls boarding high school in San Anselmo, CA, has appointed Dr. David Behrs Head of School effective 2 August 2010.

Dr. Behrs presently serves as the 15th president of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) in Indiana.

Current San Domenico head Dr. Mathew Heersche retires June 30, 2010.

Since 1995, Dr. Heersche has served as San Domenico’s Middle School Division Head, Interim Head of School, and Head of School.

San Domenico has seen major additions to the physical plant during his tenure including a new Science and Technology Center, Hall of the Arts, Athletic Center, and the largest school-based solar installation in Marin County.

Brian Fisher

A product of both private and public education, Brian Fisher served as a teacher, coach, dorm parent, and administrator at three different boarding schools. Brian also fills the role of Director of Development at Wolfeboro, The Summer Boarding School, in NH along with being a partner at AdmissionsQuest.
