Alumnus/Year Graduated: 2013
Please share a few thoughts about your experiences with New Hampton School: I came here halfway through my sophomore year straight out of wilderness therapy, struggling with drug addiction, depression, you name it. New Hampton School gave me a second chance, and provided me with every opportunity to do well. It was not easy, and I did not always agree with the rules, but I was able to make the best of my experience, throwing myself into both my schoolwork and rediscovering my passion for the guitar. Two and a half years later, that same drug addict is going to Cornell! I feel extremely lucky and grateful for what New Hampton has helped me accomplish, and for what my parents have sacrificed in order for me to come here.
