The students of Florida Air Academy come from all over the world; the majority of the students, though, are from Florida with some day students. Separate dorms house male students and female students with constant adult supervision.

Florida Air Academy is located in Melbourne, Florida, on the Space Coast of Florida. The neat, attractive campus is housed in Mediterranean-style buildings in the center of the town. As cadets in a military school, students dress in uniform during the class day but may wear more relaxed attire after classes. With large playing fields, a gym, a weight room, and numerous club activities, students can be involved in many things. Located only a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean, students can enjoy surfing and other seaside activities. Being only 45 miles from the major airport in Orlando, the school is very accessible as it is also only a few miles off I-95.
