History Of School Auldern Academy is a college-preparatory boarding school with a personal growth curriculum. We offer a traditional boarding school environment with challenging but supportive academics and a personal growth program designed to prepare young women for college-matriculation and independence. We serve academically capable young women, grades 9-12, who would benefit from more structure and support than a typical boarding school provides.General Contact Information Auldern Academy Address1: PO Box 1247 Address2: City: Pittsboro State: North Carolina Postal Code: 27312 Country: USA Main Phone: (919) 837-2336 Main Fax: School Email Address: [email protected] Web Site: http://www.Auldern.com Admissions Office Information Fax: Email: [email protected] Phone: (919) 837-2336 Director of Admission Name: Diana Boyrer Title: Director of Admissions Head of School Name: Will Laughlin, M.Ed., M.A. Title: Head of School General Information Boarding School or Day School: Boarding/Day Campus Size (Acres): 86 Dress Code: Neat Informal Endowment: Founded: 2001 Religious Affiliation: School Environment: Auldern Academys student program consists of three integrated components, the Academic Program, the Personal Growth Program, and the Student Life Program. Since we are working with young women who are on the cusp of young adulthood and independence, we have designed all program elements around the assumption that our students have enrolled at Auldern voluntarily. The campus setting is one of woodlands, ponds, a river and school facilities. The facilities consist of classrooms, a computer lab, a library, dining hall, administrative offices, a student center, activity fields and tennis courts.
