History
LAS was founded in 1960 by Mr. & Mrs. Fred & Sigrid Ott. 1978 the founders retired and in 1982 their son and his wife Dr. Steven and Doris Ott took over. 1990 LAS became the first boarding in Switzerland to offer the prestigious International Baccaulaureate Diploma. In 1999 LAS became the first school worldwide to certified by ISO 9001 (International Standards Organization). In 2005 LAS became a non-for-profit organization. In 2008, Dr. Marc-Frédéric Ott became Head of School. LAS celebrated the 50th anniversary in 2010. |
