Why a Junior Boarding School?

Junior boarding schools exist for the sole purpose of providing a safe and supportive environment structured to guide middle school youngsters through this most crucial period in their development. These schools develop sound, fundamental, scholastic skills, and create a positive attitude about learning in each of the youngsters they serve. They can take a student who has fallen through the cracks in his present school or who has lost interest in his studies and help revitalize his instinctive need to learn.

Children are instructed in small, intimate classes. Academic and study skills, remedial through gifted, are taught so that every child recognizes and attains his personal best.

Fundamental Practices and Beliefs of all Junior Boarding Schools include:

1. An independent school, with no grades above 9th, with some portion of their enrollment being boarding students.
